Project Overview

Published on 10 November 2017

The ReSiELP project is based on three pillars:
        1. The recovery of the EoL modules.
        2. The re-use of silicon after purification step.
        3. The re-use of glass for building materials development.

Recovered materials are reinjected in different value chains. Aluminum, copper and silver is directly placed on the market.

Recovered glass is tested in building materials (mortars, concretes) to produce eco-sustainable solutions with suitable technical performance.

On the other hand, silicon is treated in order to prepare solar grade silicon and should be reintroduced in the closed-loop PV value chain.
